To mark its first ever UAE National Day, Mirdif City Centre revealed its 'Many Faces, One Nation' photo project on Thursday to much excitement at the mall.

The 2metre by 2metre photo montage is the result of hundreds of profile pictures taken of Mirdif City Centre customers at the mall throughout November, and collated to create a giant 3D photo montage in the shape of the UAE map.

The completed photo montage was unveiled during the mall's first ever National Day celebrations, which included an amazing line up of in mall entertainment, National Day themed performers, marching bands and a special parade with local school children, who modeled custom made National Day headbands.

Yousif Al Ali, Vice President of Mirdif City Centre, said: the 'Many Faces, One Nation' photo campaign represents the unity of all the UAE people as one combined nation, and is a fitting way to mark the occasion of the mall's first ever UAE national day. It is with great pride that we unveil this project which has been made with the participation and support of hundreds of our loyal customers, and symbolises the importance of our community and our country to Mirdif City Centre."

To add to the National Day festivities, the mall also hosted the "Our Strength is our Unity" photography exhibition, in conjunction with the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Community Development. The Exhibition featured exclusive pictures of the unity of all emirates, as well as other historic images that were displayed at the mall throughout the National Day period.
