MODA Mall, Bahrain’s ultra high-end shopping destination, recently hosted a panel discussion with leading Bahraini artist Balqees Fakhro and young budding artists as part of the Ta’a Al Shabab Cultural Youth Festival -Tashkeel initiative. The event was held under the patronage of Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Culture.
The forum provided an opportunity for young Bahraini artists to learn about and discuss the various special techniques used by Balqees Fakhro to make her paintings exceptional.  Ta’a Al Shabab regularly organizes workshops which are led by highly accredited professional artists and aim to help young Bahrainis recognize their talents and encourage their development.
MODA Mall regularly hosts social and cultural events and is becoming a popular venue for leading artists to showcase their artworks and promote Bahrain’s art and culture. Some of the recent events held at the mall this year include: Zain Night of the AdEaters, Cartier Photo Exhibition, and the Rashid Al Oraifi Art Exhibition which is currently being held as part of MODA Mall’s Summer Surprises.

The mall is home to exclusive brand-name boutiques and provides savvy and sophisticated shoppers with access to the finest designer clothing and jewellery brands, in addition to the sounds and sensations of the most glamorous destinations on the fashion map. The mall also offers shoppers a luxury experience in dining choices. Currently, shoppers can choose from Patisserie Valerie, Lina’s, Vivel Patisserie and Maki, in addition to Espressamente illy Café at Sheraton Hotel overlooking the mall’s Jewellery Court.

Offering a 1,700 space car park shared with the adjoining Bahrain World Trade Center, MODA Mall is open all days of the week from 10 am until 10 pm. A valet parking service, the first of its kind to be offered anywhere in the region, is now available for mall shoppers and visitors to the BWTC office towers and MODA Mall. This mixed-use development also houses Fitness First, a state-of-the-art international health club, and a range of business-related services.
