President Bush sent a personal congratulatory message to the King of Morocco on the occasion of the festival to praise him for his work improving social conditions in Morocco. The Moroccan King is an important strategic ally for President Bush, which explains why America is so careful to support the regime. Others complain that the present King lacks guts and has not achieved the necessary reforms to propel Morocco forward. (albawaba.com)
