Moroccan Minister calls for youth development in Sahara
A broadcast in the 'Hiwar' program by the Moroccan minister of state and secretary general of the Istiqlal party, Abbas El Fassi on Moroccan national radio Saturday November 20 discussed youth development in the Sahara region.
He emphasized the necessity of reinforcing youth activity and general development in order to guarantee the integrity of the Kingdom and to make sure Morocco stays a strong country. The comment came after former Moroccan interior minister Driss Basri called for a referendum on the Sahara issue, contradicting official Moroccan government policy. (albawaba.com)
