NAJAH, the UAE’s most comprehensive Education, Training and Careers Exhibition, opens tomorrow (Sunday, November 04, 2007) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), offering visitors an opportunity to meet with top international education, training and career development institutions from November 4-8, 2007.

The event which has been organised to help strengthen the region's human capital, offers a range of highly targeted activities such as career counselling sessions, job profiling, and a Youth Education Seminar (YES), in addition to more than 100 'topic specific' interactive seminars, and the region's largest high-level strategic education conference.

Simon Horgan, CEO, ADNEC, said, “This will be a very useful event for practically everyone involved in the UAE’s workforce, from students looking for exciting careers – to executives searching for alternative options.   Furthermore, NAJAH fits very well into the development strategy of our new exhibition centre, as it is our goal to host exhibitions and events that appeal to all audiences and market segments.”

NAJAH, which has been conceptualised to be a landmark annual event in the education sector, joins a high-profile list of international exhibitions that have been staged at the state-of-the-art, 25,000 square-metre exhibition centre, which opened in February 2007 following the completion of Phase One of the ADNEC complex. Construction of Phase Two of the ADNEC project recently commenced, which will double the size of the venue to make it the Middle East’s largest purpose-built exhibition centre.

With NAJAH's projected high turnout, ADNEC expects to surpass its projected total visitor headcount this year. From over a dozen exhibitions it has staged so far, ADNEC has revealed that a combined total of more than 600,000 people have already visited the centre. The number of visitors is expected to reach over 1.5 million in 2008 once Phase Two is completed next year

NAJAH caters to the varied needs of students, educators, parents, career professionals, training organisers, and educational institutions, and is strategically positioned to be the only international event that specifically focuses on the education, training and career development sectors. Moreover, NAJAH offers business organisations an opportunity to expand into the dynamic market and acts as a benchmarking platform to address various issues that affect market players.

The event is open daily from 10am to 7pm, with a ladies only day on Monday, November 05, 2007, from 10am to 2pm.
