National Festival for vocal ensembles in Setif
The cultural house of Houari-Boumediene in Setif has recently opened the second edition of the National Festival for vocal ensembles. The event, which is organized by the district of Setif, will host ten other districts, six of which will be taking part in the Festival for the first time. The event will be attended by a number of eminent figures in Algerian cultural life, including the former minister of Culture, Lamine Bechichi, the renowned compositors Noubli Fadel and Cherif Kortbi and a number of education officials.
<i>Liberate Algeria</i> reports that the 400-participant event will be sponsored by 14 public and private companies.
