Nine Killed, Seven Injured in Explosion in China

An explosion in Hefei, the capital of China's eastern province of Anhui, left nine people dead and seven others injured Saturday, state media reported. 

The blast occurred in a residential apartment block the official Xinhua news agency said, adding that an investigation was underway -- BEIJING (AFP)
