Winner of Nissan Qashqai SMS contest launched by Bustami & Saheb Trading Co. (BSTC), the exclusive dealers of Nissan in Jordan and Zain Jordan, part of the Zain Group, the leading mobile operator in the Middle East and Africa, was announced at a special award ceremony held at Nissan's Mecca Street showroom on September 16.

The contest aims to share with the public the spirit of giving in the Holy Month of Ramadan. Zain subscribers participated by answering a series of general and religious questions sent on daily basis.

Participants were invited to the raffle, during which Shireen Al Hassani BSTC Marketing and Corporate Communication Manager, Zain's

Mobile Data & Broadband Services Manager Mr. Khaled Nusaibeh delivered the car to the winner, Nariman Al-Qaq.

For the second year running, Nissan and Zain persevered on supporting society.

Zain on its part took on promoting the contest through a number of media and communication outlets.

In addition, a number of sponsors spread Ramadan's joy through valuable giveaways granted on a daily and weekly basis including Nissan official partner, Fitness First, NGT, and Cozmo. In addition, media partner Virgin Radio Jordan helped spread the word about the contest.

With Nissan Qashqai 2010 as a grand prize, more than 27,000 participated in the contest. Qashqai, a crossover between sedan cars and SUV cars; is an exceptional vehicle, the sales of which exceeded forecasts in all markets ever since its launch in 2008.

CEO of BSTC Imad Bustami said "We feel gratified to celebrate these joyous occasions of Eid Al-Fitr and Ramadan, with Nissan and Zain customers and society at large,"

Bustami also noted that Nissan strives to exceed its customers' expectations and insuring excellence and efficiency at its best.

"Nissan is always proud to team up with the renowned Zain, the No.1 telecommunication company in Jordan," he added.

Al-Qaq, went ecstatic upon winning the high-end vehicle, "I drive a Nissan Sunny 2005, and this prompted me to participate with hopes of winning this amazing red brand new Nissan Qashqai."
