Over 50 dead as US opposes arming Syrian rebels
Bombardment of the Syrian city of Homs by government forces killed at least 52 civilians overnight, activists in the city and opposition sources said on Wednesday.

It is not a question of US not wanting to but how to help without opening a door for war eager countries to enter the conflict and end up with a total war. Perhaps the resistance could stop weapons from Russia, Iran and other nations to enter. The best way to get help to the resistance is via its neighbour, no one can object of close neighbour helping because they have a self protection reason to do so.
Surely the military officers there are with part of the regime so to eliminate the top would not solve the issue his generals will take over. Here Egypt, Libya and other Arab Spring people can help, show how to take weapons from Army depots. The member of the Arab Spring should now unite to help. That would be first step. Also listen only to Obama's word not any one with neo con preferences.
