PA president calls Palestinians to vote, ready to cooperate with Olmert
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday urged the Palestinian people to participate in the elections which will be held on January 25.
Speaking in Ramallah city, Abbas said that every Palestinian must practice his democratic right in the vote, adding that the Palestinian democracy will continue.
Answering a question regarding his readiness to cooperate with Israeli Acting Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, Abbas noted that the Palestinian will not hesitate to negotiate with him, expressing his hope to reach a peaceful solution through negotiation and not through military aggressions.
