Israel rejected a proposed 24-hour humanitarian truce on Sunday, hours after Hamas said that all Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip had agreed to observe it.
Al-Qassam Brigades, which is the military wing of Hamas, says Palestinian resistance fighters have killed at least 90 Israeli soldiers over the past 20 days.
Hamas has agreed to a 24-hour humanitarian truce in its conflict with Israel.
Two young Palestinians have been hospitalized after being assaulted by a group of Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank.
