Meanwhile, Israel's Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who trounced his rival Benjamin Netanyahu in the primary elections for the right-wing Likud party, swore Israel would avenge the blood of those who had been killed in a spate of deadly attacks on election day.
"We are here after a very hard day indeed -- we haven't even buried the dead from today's terror attacks, he said in a victory speech early Friday following his triumph at the primaries.
"We will not give in to terror ... Israel will go after those who spilled the blood of its citizens." Six Israelis, including a Likud central committee member were killed when Palestinian gunmen sprayed automatic gunfire and hurled grenades at a polling station in the northern town of Beit Shean.
In Hebron, three-year-old Abas Altrash was killed Thursday night. Palestinian sources said the three-year-old was killed by Israeli gunfire. (Albawaba.com)
