Palestinian leader receives Chinese Middle East envoy

Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat received on Wednesday the visiting Chinese Middle East envoy. 

Arafat briefed the Chinese envoy on the grave situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and discussed with him the current international efforts to stop Israel's campaign of aggression and to revive the peace process, Qatar News Agency said. 

The Palestinian leader described the brutal practices of Israeli occupation troops against Palestinian civilians as "a horrendous crime," citing the fierce onslaught being launched against Nablus since Tuesday. (Albawaba.com)
