Police Arrests Seven Israeli Arabs
Israeli Police arrensted on Thursday seven Israeli Arabs from the Galilee village of Makr-Jedida on suspicion of torching the local police station during clashes in Arab towns in Israel last month that left 13 1948-Palestinians killed and hundreds injured, reported The Jerusalem Post newspaper.
The paper added that those arrested were put under house arrest pending trial.
A committee of inquiry has been set up by the Israeli government to probe into the killings, which Arab leaders charge they were deliberate.
Israeli extremists have attacked Nazareth and other Arab towns in retaliation for the Israeli Arabs’ uprising in solidarity with the Aqsa Intifada – Albawaba.com
