Iraqi police located two vehicles packed with explosives in Baghdad and detained a Syrian who confessed to having rigged them, Iraqi officials said Thursday.
According to The AP, the Americans blew up one of the cars, both Toyotas, and police and U.S. forces sealed off the area of the Ad-Doura neighborhood.
Iraqi policeman Sahir Shakr disclosed the first car was discovered about 6 a.m. and the driver arrested. The second car was located later outside the nearby An-Nahada secondary school, policeman Ahmed Hassan said. (Albawaba.com)
