Polish Teacher Allegedly Cuts Throat of Student Hindering Romance
A teacher in the northeastern Polish village of Czarna Bialostocka slit the throat of her 11-year-old student because he was "an obstacle" in pursuing a romance with the boy's father, local media reported Thursday.
The boy was found alive Wednesday in the school's clinic with his throat slit, but died soon after.
The teacher, Mariola M., had taken the key for the clinic and asked a student to fetch Piotr from a music class.
Police are searching for the teacher, who called the boy "an obstacle in my relationship with his father" in a letter found in her apartment, according to the daily Zycie.
School officials said Mariola M., who had taught at the school for 15 years, had never caused any problems – WARSAW (AFP)
