Pop extravaganza to hit Abu Dhabi
Pop music and dance buffs in Abu Dhabi, UAE can swing the night away when some of the biggest names in the international music circuit crackle onto the stage at the Hotel Inter-Continental Abu Dhabi on September 28, reported the ‘Khaleej’ newspaper.
According to hotel sources, the dance party, scheduled to take place at the hotel’s nightclub, ‘AM.PM’, includes some modern day giants of dance music, ATB and DJ Sash! supported by DJ Woody van Eyden, who will provide a 'cutting edge' combination of 'electric music.’
The sources said that tickets can be bought for Dh75 per person ahead of the event. However, on the day of the concert, ticket prices will be raised to Dh95.
Also on the agenda as part of the evening's gala will be a rain dace and a laser show, which will complement the non-stop music. The music will be mixed and choreographed by the DJs on the spot, and will provide a fusion sound of sorts.
The DJs are well-known on the international music scene, the sources said, and have played in popular music and dance venues like Ibiza.
Part of the UK club culture, the show has already had some runs in Dubai.
Hotel sources expected a sell-out audience of 3,000 to 5,000 dance enthusiasts and teenagers to be part of the spectacle-Albawaba.com.
