The Qatar Financial Centre Civil and Commercial Court [today] announced the official appointments of Robert Musgrove as CEO and Chris Campbell-Holt as Assistant Registrar.

Robert Musgrove was formerly Chief Executive of the Civil Justice Council, the British Government's principal advisory body on civil justice reform. He has been closely involved with the civil justice system for more than twenty five years, working variously in Government policy, research, and advisory roles.

Robert Musgrove said: "I am looking forward to working more closely with Lord Woolf, President of the Court and the rest of the team at the QFC Civil and Commercial Court. The Court is already fully operational and we will continue to focus on providing an effective and cost-efficient service of the highest legal and professional standards."

Chris Campbell-Holt co-founded an International Practice Group across Norton Rose's 30 international law offices and co-founded the Centre for Ethics and Law at University College London, where he continues to serve as an Advisor. He has written and edited numerous publications on commercial and civil law and ethics and law.

Michael McKenzie CB, QC, Registrar said: "the appointments of Robert and Chris will compliment the already exceptional caliber of judges and personnel at the Court. The expertise and experience of our staff in combination with state of the art facilities enable us to provide not only tenants of the QFC but also the international business community as a whole with a world-class centre for dispute resolution."
