RAK Ceramics, the world's largest ceramic tiles & sanitaryware manufacturing company, has announced that it will launch 18 new products and designs during its participation at the CERSAIE Fair 2010, the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings to be held in Bologna, Italy from September 28 to October 2, 2010. RAK Ceramics' premium showcase will include product innovations developed through the latest in ceramic tile manufacturing technology, complementing the growing reputation of the CERSAIE Fair as a global platform for creative and artistic excellence in the ceramic tile and sanitaryware industry.

Headlining RAK Ceramics' presentation are its TOP CLASS range of ceramic tile and Gres Porcellanato products that feature Gavial, Scales, Leaf, Ray and Fabrica designs. Top Class is an amalgamation of several sub-products developed using the new ROTO-COLOUR Porcelain tile printing technology to create animal skin designs along with stone leaf and cloth designs that feature a classy touch. The new KERAjet ceramic tile models – Grid Stone and Segura – will also be part of RAK Ceramics' centrepiece showcase at the CERSAIE Fair. The KERAjet models are developed using KERAjet technology, a 100 per cent digital system for ceramic tile decoration that opens new opportunities for creativity and innovation.

Dr. Khater Massaad, CEO, RAK Ceramics said: "The CERSAIE Fair in Italy is an important marketing platform that will enable RAK Ceramics to reinforce its reputation as an innovative leader in the global ceramic tile industry. For this year's exhibition, we have assembled an impressive range of new products and designs that underline RAK Ceramics' continuing thrust to cater to the diverse requirements of our clients worldwide. RAK Ceramics will also send a high-level delegation to the event to explore new projects with potential business partners and customers and to discuss the latest trends, challenges and opportunities with global industry leaders."

RAK Ceramics has also lined up for the exhibition the Rajasthan and Gnais Stone Gres Porcellanato designs, which use the latest CRETA-PRINT technology to create durable and high-resolution images directly onto tiles. Also in the showcase is another distinct range of Gres Porcellanato and ceramic tile products designed using ROTO-COLOUR technology, including the deep-earth minerals inspired Galena, Dolomite (Quartz), Impression, Visio, flower-inspired Blume and Noblesse.

The new ceramic tile Glitter is another RAK Ceramics innovation that uses the high-definition, four-colour ROTO-MATRIX printing technology to create a golden colour texture, giving a glittering touch to the walls. Also to be showcased are the new Hexa and Topaz designs, which use punch technology in creating a symmetrical look through cubic patterns.

The CERSAIE Fair is regarded as one of the world's most important trade fairs with over 1,000 exhibitors from around 140 countries and thousands of international trade buyers. Building on the success of its participation in 2009, RAK Ceramics has revealed that it has booked a spacious 400-square metre stand to provide a much detailed presentation of its latest range of ceramic tiles and sanitary wares.

The public-listed RAK Ceramics is currently the world's largest manufacturer of ceramic and porcelain tiles accounting for more than USD 1 billion global sales annually. The company's global production of tiles exceeds 360,000 sqm and 12,000 pieces of sanitary ware per day from its state-of-the-art manufacturing plants worldwide.
