Endorsing the ICDL program is a result of the dedicated efforts of the management to enhance the quality of IT training provided at the zone. ICDL is regarded as a benchmark in IT education and we look forward to extending the benefits of this accreditation to our students.”
Jamil Ezzo, Director General, ICDL GCC Foundation, said, “Teachers play a very important role in the spread of IT literacy and in transforming education in our region. With the implementation of the ICDL IT literacy program in Ras Al Khaima Education Zone, teachers will become more resourceful and empowered with access to the latest educational practices and domain content. It is essential that both educators and students are empowered with fundamental IT skills to advance the knowledge capital in the region. Ras Al Khaima Education Zone will be a valuable addition to ICDL’s increasing number of training centers, providing computer training of international standards to the various sections of society.”
Ras Al Khaima Education Zone has taken the initiative to provide its teachers with all the facilities required for ICDL training and testing. Following the ICDL accreditation, all the teachers at the education zone are expected to pursue the ICDL certification.
