Report: UN submits detailed proposals to Israel and Syria to renew peace talks
The United Nations has submitted detailed proposals to Israel and Syria to renew peace talks between the two sides, according to western diplomats, cited by The Financial Times on Saturday.
Diplomats described the proposal as a very precise, the British daily reported,.
The UN has proposed that other parties play an active role in any resumption of talks, including the U.S. and France.
"If there's a will you could easily go to the negotiating table," the report quoted one diplomat familiar with the UN move as saying. (Albawaba.com)
