A security spokesman of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior announced that the security agencies have got information of great importance on an integrated lab inside a residential house in Al-Fayha'a district in Riyadh city for the manufacture of explosive materials and belts which were about to be used later in criminal operations.
The lab was in the charge of the so-called Yasser Mohammed Shafiq Al-Barazi - Syrian national - who arrived in the Kingdom in 2010.
In the same house, the security agencies found that a Filipino citizenship woman was living illegally with Al-Barazi to help him in sewing and preparing the explosive belts, and in his absence she used to wear an explosive belt.
The house as a whole was booby trapped by the perpetrator with severe explosive materials indifferent to the lives of innocent residents and visitors to the neighborhood. Al-Barazi has also taken a second location in Al-Jazirah district in Riyadh as a shelter for the wanted persons by security authorities.
The Security Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior further said that given the seriousness of this information and to protect the lives of residents near the first location at Al-Fayha'a neighborhood, the competent authority had prepared a security ambush for the arrest of the above-mentioned culprit on Wednesday, 30/09/2015 outside the neighborhood, and this was coincided with the evacuation of the residents' houses near the location which was cordoned off completely for safety reasons, while specialized teams had cleared the lab of the explosive materials and defused the booby-trapped house from its explosives safely.
At the same time, the Filipino woman named / Lady Gioi Aban Bali Nang was arrested. She was absent from her original employer since more than 15 months ago.
During the inspection of the culprit's house, the following items were seized:
1. Two explosive belts and were defused.
2. An integrated lab for the manufacture of explosive materials and belts.
3. A machine gun with three magazines and 88 rounds.
4. Two hard disk drives and three cameras.
The second location of the culprit at Al-Jazirah residential area had been raided but nobody was inside except some furniture, clothes, evidences and traces that initially demonstrated that it was prepared to house the wanted persons by security authorities as well as to prepare suicide bombers thereof.
