Select Kuwaiti firefighters to participate in UAE International FireFit Championships
The UAE International FIREFIT CHAMPIONSHIPS under the patronage of Shaikh Masour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum and with the support of Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development and Dubai Civil Defence, 911 firefighting training and Epoc Messe Frankfurt GmbH, organisers of Intersec Trade Fair and Conference (16 – 18 January 2011), are organizing the biggest and the first International FireFit championships in the Middle East, with NAFFCO being the main sponsor of the event.
The Championship is gaining key support from the Mohammed Bin Rashed Establishment for SME development (MBRE).
Mohammed Al Ahmadi, General Manager of 911 Fire Fighting and founder of the championships, MBRE member said: "Participating in the Firefit Championships is a great opportunity to assess the professional readiness, tactical expertise and development of our firefighters. By pitting our skills against the best it motivates our firefighters to excel themselves and is a great morale booster."
A very popular segment of Intersec which launched successfully during the last edition, the UAE International FireFit Championships features leading firefighting teams from around the world that pit their skills against each other in a series of competitions over three days.

The UAE International FireFit Championships are being held as part of Intersec 2011 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 16 to 18. Intersec is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition and conference for the security and safety industry in the Middle East.
Apart from being a great opportunity for industry professionals to interact and meet with leading manufacturers, suppliers and international experts in their fields, the event also features the Intersec Conference.
