Six explosions rock southeastern Iranian city
Six bombs have exploded in the southeastern Iranian city of Zahedan in attacks that caused material damage and wounded two people, officials said Monday.
Local government officials in the capital of Sistan-Baluchistan refused to speculate on who was behind Sunday afternoon's explosions.
"Six home-made bombs exploded at around 6:00 pm (local time) Sunday. The explosions shattered the windows of several shops and two Afghan refugees were hurt by flying glass," local government official Heydar Ali Nourai told the student news agency ISNA. He added that police authorities were hunting the perpetrators.
According to IRNA, the two lightly injured were children. (Albawaba.com)
