Six Palestinians, Israeli woman killed
Six Palestinians were killed and an Israeli boy, 7, from the settlement of Netzarim was moderately wounded Saturday in Gaza Strip.
Four Palestinians were killed and three others were critically wounded early Saturday by Israeli forces in al-Zaytoun neighbourhood of Gaza city, Palestinian medics and witnesses said. Medics at al-Shifa hospital of Gaza city confirmed that Issa Kishko 20, and Yahya Abu Muheissen 25, and Abdul-Rahman al-Sosy 19, were killed after being shot by Israeli fire, and six others were critically wounded. Witnesses added that Israeli forces broke into al-Maslakh area of the neighbourhood amid intensive fire shooting, razing vast areas of arable land.
In Rafah, two Palestinians, including a child, were wounded by Israeli troops, located in the city, southern Gaza Strip, locals said. The child Mahmoud al-Sardy 13, was shot with a live bullet in the right hand and Mohammed al-Satry 20, was shot in the right leg.
Also in Rafah, an Israeli tank fired two shells and machine guns at Palestinians near the border with Egypt, killing two people and wounding 10, hospital officials said.
Meanwhile, an Israeli woman was killed Saturday evening when a Qassam rocket landed in the southern city of Sderot. Four other Israelis were hurt in the attack. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack.
In Hebron city of the West Bank (WB), three Palestinians were arrested after their houses were tightly searched by Israeli troops, Palestinian security sources said. Massive Israeli troops arrested Mohammed Sanayda 36, after they besieged his house in Yatta town. In Dura town, the Israeli soldiers arrested Bassam al-Harybat 41, after they stormed his house. They also arrested Ali al-Rujoub 30 in Dura town.
