Speaker: Iran to celebrate nuclear victory
Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel on Sunday hailed the "outstanding" stance of Iran in its nuclear standoff with the West. "The Islamic Republic of Iran will celebrate a nuclear victory before the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2007)," he said.
"Tehran's insistence on its inalienable nuclear right is a matter of justice, but certain proud countries would deprive it of its right in order to continue their brutalities and materialize selfish ends."
"Today the Iranian nation enjoys dignity and honor in the global community, in the Islamic world in particular, thanks to the Islamic Revolution," he said, and reminded that this dignity is a gift of the Islamic Revolution.
