Spokesman: Iran, EU to continue talks in Tehran
Iran and the European Union (EU) will continue their political talks in March this year in Tehran, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi said Sunday.
The spokesman told reporters in the Iranian capital that the momentum of political talks was halted due to the nuclear dispute but was resumed following the nuclear agreement inked last year between the two sides.
Asefi added that political and security talks were part of one of the three working committees formed between Iran and the European Union. The other two committees deal with nuclear issues and economic cooperation.
