Sultanate of Oman arrests nearly 180 illegal immigrants
Police officials in the Sultanate of Oman said on Wednesday they had recently detained another 177 illegal immigrants, the majority of them from neighboring countries, arriving by boat on the Sultanate's 1,700-kilometer coastline.
Those arrested, AFP said, consisted of 166 Pakistanis, six Bangladeshis, three Iranians, one Indian and one Yemeni, the police specified. (Albawaba.com)
