More than 80 dead at Aleppo university after deadly blast
More than 80 people have been left dead at a university in Northern Syria after two blasts near the students' dorms ravaged the building, Al Jazeera reported on Wednesday.
The Syrian government and the Opposition both blamed each other for the deaths at Aleppo University although eye witnesses reported seeing bombs fall from the sky.
At present, only the Syrian army would have the air capability to inflict bombs of this kind. The UK-based NGO, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, confirmed that 83 people in total were killed, with more than 150 people wounded.
The Observatory added that of those injured, many more could loose their lives in the coming days. Students had been sitting their midterms exams when the attack happened.
