The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights said that the rocket hit the home late Friday. The attack reportedly left other residents trapped in their homes, and others fled to the nearby city of Homs.
It was not yet clear who was responsible for the attacks at the time the report was released, but Al-Qaeda and regime forces have been fighting near the town over the past week.
Sadad, north of Damascus, is predominantly home to Syrian Christians and was seized by the Al-Nusra Front early last week before government forces reportedly reclaimed control of the town.
