Syria sends humanitarian aid to Algeria
A Syrian plane loaded with aid from the people of Syria to Algeria arrived in the North African country earlier this week.
The State Minister for Red Crescent Affairs Abdulkareem Sayed Yousif and a number of Red Crescent volunteers accompanied the plane, according to the official Syrian Arab News Agency.
He said the aid, which included 40 tons of medicine, foodstuff, tents and blankets, marked the first one, and added that there would soon be further ones on their way to Algeria as well. (Albawaba.com)
