Syria sends relief aid to Palestinians via Amman
A new cargo of wide-ranging Syrian aid, destined for the Palestinian people in the occupied territories, comprised of some 300 tons of food, clothes and other supplies arrived Sunday in the Jordanian capital of Amman, SANA reported Monday.
Syria’s ambassador in Jordan told a SANA reporter that the shipment and assistance marks the third this year, which comes within the framework of assistance to “our brothers in the occupied territories”.
In addition, the Syrian ambassador expressed hope that this aid would contribute to easing the sufferings of the Palestinian people, due to the Israeli siege. (Albawaba.com)
