Three dead in Yemen attack
Three members of one family were shot dead in an ambush by "separatists" in southern Yemen, the 26 September website reported on Saturday. One other person was hurt in Friday's incident in Lahaj region, according to the report.
Yasser al-Yamani, deputy governor of Lahaj, conveyed the ambush targeting people from the north living in the south was the work of "outlaws who call themselves organisers of the southern rebellion."
There have been ongoing clashes between police and protesters in the south over the past few months. At least 21 people have been died since the protests started about two months ago.
