Travel Agency Ambitious to Promote Oman Tourism
Mark Tours, a newcomer, is determined to earn its own niche in the ever-expanding tourism business in Oman by tapping visitors from completely new markets and by creating its own inbound tourism operation, according to Times of Oman.
The company plans organizing major events, with a new vision, according to Danielle Gaudillere, marketing executive of Mark Tours.
"I was absolutely captivated by this beautiful country. However, although there are many tourist tours on offer, I found that they could be organized differently, with a French touch that is,” the executive told the paper.
“There is a tremendous potential here for European visitors, especially French, she said, adding that they very familiar with destinations as Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, etc, but here it is different.”
"French visitors look for faraway and exotic destinations. They also look for comfort on offer in the countries they visit, but also for less known destinations", said Danielle.
She added that in the future she might also organize tours for groups with special interest, such in the scientific or cultural fields.
