Tunisian Government to Invest $250m in Telecommunication in the Year 2000

Tunisia will invest US$250m in telecommunications projects in 2000, reported HiTech magazine, quoting Communications Minister Ahmed Friaa. 

According to the magazine, the ministry is currently working on expanding the number of networks from one million to 1.2 million lines as well as promoting local investments in the field of telecommunications - Albawaba.com
