Tunisian President Zein El Abidden bin Ali leaves for Libya on Wednesday, starting a two-day visit in response to an invitation from Libyan leader Moammer Kadhafi, reported the official Kuwait news agency (KUNA).
“The visit is part of consultations to enhance existing brotherly relations tying the two countries,” a Tunisian presidential spokesman said.
He said the visit was an opportunity for talks over the state of the Arab Maghreb Union, the African Union for Coastal and Desert Countries as well as the Palestinian crisis.
