Two Iraqis killed in US bombing on Fallujah
U.S. aircraft bombed the city of Fallujah overnight, killing two Iraqis, a relative was quoted as saying on Thursday. The owner of the house that was demolished in the strike said two of his brothers were killed, Reuters reported.
In the Iraqi capital, gunmen killed a popular news reader on her way home from work at al-Sharqiya television, sources told Reuters on Thursday.
Liqaa Abdul-Razzaq who had worked for Iraqi state television before last year's ouster of Saddam Hussein's regime, was shot dead on Wednesday evening. (albawaba.com)
