Two new higher education institutions in Tunisia
Gafsa (Tunisia) has two new higher education institutions for the academic year 2005/2006, which are the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technologies, and Higher Institute of Art. La Presse reports that both of these institutions will have co-ed education and accommodate more than 1,000 students. Lazhar Bououni, Minister of Higher Education, who paid a visit to Gafsa on Saturday, said that with the creation of these two new institutions, total number of higher education institutions in Gafsa reached to seven.
