Two Palestinians dead in West Bank and Gaza Strip
Israeli soldiers searching for Palestinian activists shot dead a man in the West Bank city of Nablus, Palestinian medics and witnesses said. The witnesses said the troops opened fire at a group of Palestinians and that it was unclear whether they were armed. Sources said the victim was a member of the Islamic Jihad.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian died Saturday of wounds he sustained during the Israeli offensive on the al-Sheja'iya quarter, east of Gaza, medical sources said. According to WAFA, the sources reported that Rami al-Mubayedh died of critical wounds he sustained two days ago. The sources affirmed that the offensive on the overpopulated quarter left 32 people killed and scores others wounded.
