Two UN peacekeepers wounded in Sinai blast
A blast was reported Monday in a minibus in an airport which is used by the UN forces in Sinai. Two Canadian members were wounded, Egyptian security officials said.
The explosion badly damaged the vehicle that the Multinational Force and Observers members were riding in about 10 miles from Egypt's border with the Gaza Strip, security officials in Rafah said, according to The AP.
Senior security officials in Cairo said the two wounded were Canadian members of the MFO. The cause of the explosion was not clear.
