UAE President to Undergo Medical Checkups in Geneva
UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan left Abu Dhabi Sunday for Geneva to undergo routine medical checkups, reported the official Emirati news agency (WAM).
The agency did not give details on the length of Sheikh Zayed's stay in Switzerland, nor of the clinic to which he would be admitted.
Sheikh Zayed, 83, who last year underwent a kidney transplant operation in the United States, has been president of the United Arab Emirates since 1971 –Albawaba.com
