Want to insult Arabs? US politicians show us how:

Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, was thorough in his approach. He referred to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, negating years of fighting by Palestinians to stop the city falling entirely into Israeli hands.
Paul Ryan, his deputy, got in on the action when he called Israel a “valuable ally against Islamic extremism and terrorism.” The pattern was starting to form: for Arabs a slight against Palestine is a slight against the Muslim world.
It is incomprehensible for most middle easterners that US politicians are seemingly unaware of this fact in their speeches abroad. But actions speak louder than words and the latest example of US insensitivity comes in the form of a photo.
The picture allegedly shows Brooklyn State Senator, David Storobin, posing with a machine gun in hand on the Israeli side of the Syrian border. Given the bloody war raging in neighboring Syria, the photo seems inappropriate in the extreme.
It is also in the disputed territory of the Golan Heights, an area that many Arabs consider to be illegally under Israeli control where numerous Arab villages are found.
Lastly, the senator also appears to be dressed in Israeli military garb. This combination hits all the hot spots for Arabs.
The New Yorker has already stirred controversy back home after being accused of fraudulently collecting signatures for his voter list. But, despite only being sworn in to office two months ago, Storobin will be a name to remember in the Middle East.
Do you think these pictures are insensitive? How have US politicians handled Middle East relations recently? Tell us what you think below.

American politicians parade their arrogance of ignorance. The Palestinians deserve their own homeland country. Herodotus called the region, Syria-Palestinus. Ironically Arabs & Jews are both Semitic. The word Hebrew originally meant "other tribe." Londo. North Carolina, USA.
Mr., Yes, I will agree with you that politicans are ignorant and stupid and whomever pads their "compaign pocket" they listen to,,,but I do NOT agree wit\h you about Palestinians, if they want their own country, FINE, leave Isreal along...GOD gave them thier land...not anyone else...so they expand it..so what..You don't go messing with God Almighty...let the Palestinians go after an African bit of land to call their own...they mess with Israel and I will guarantee they WILL loose out completely, GOD will see to it..the USA BETTER come to the aid of Israel and no one else...But, of course with Obama in the "Presidency" who knows..he will sell this country to China maybe for his own gain...he is a clever lawyer...what he don't know his wife does...
As an American I am apalled at the behavior of these Americans who should have been making their visit one of good will, and an insight to the major issues these countries battle daily and at times, hourly. I say to them, go home. If you can't do good in a visit that was supposed to be purposeful, then you can't do good trying to run our country in office.
As far as the Israel is there these bloody Americans will always
support them and now it is time up all the Muslims in the world to
unite and see that the Israels is destroyed. Please don't be under
obligation to the bloody Americans and they are the real enemies
of the Muslims, act tactfully.
