Visa launches 2010 FIFA World Cup™ Promotion in Egypt
Visa, FIFA’s exclusive Financial Services Partner, today announced a “Go Fans” promotion offering Visa cardholders the chance to win the trip of a lifetime to experience the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa.
From January 15 to February 28, Visa cardholders will enter into a prize draw every time they make a purchase using their Visa card to stand a chance of winning a trip to the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa. At least one lucky Visa cardholder in Egypt will not only win return flights for two to South Africa, 4 star hotel accommodation, spending money and tickets to watch a match but they will also gain privileged access to a choice of exclusive backstage experiences - including a stadium and pitch tour before the match, watch the players warm up from the sideline or have your photo taken on the pitch.
“As an Official FIFA Partner, Visa is eager to provide our cardholders with the FIFA experience up-close and in person. Every football fan is anxiously waiting for the FIFA World Cup™ to kick off this summer: to see some of the world’s best footballers battling it out on an international stage. We have a unique opportunity to offer one of the most sought after rewards of any promotion to date,” said Tarek Elhousseiny, Visa General Manager for North and West Africa. “With convenience and security inherent to every Visa payment card, everyday spending is the best way to increase your chances of scoring a seat in the stands during the FIFA World Cup in South Africa™.”
Visa’s latest FIFA campaign is part of a pan-regional promotion, where Visa cardholders from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Morocco will have a chance to win tickets to the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa.
