Wataniya Airways Targets the Business Traveller by Introducing BusinessFirst
Wataniya Airways, Kuwait's only premium service airline, today announced the launch of BusinessFirst, its new premium cabin brand.
BusinessFirst is being introduced on all Wataniya Airways' routes from today replacing the former first class cabin brand. As well as providing first class benefits and comforts, BusinessFirst adds an exciting range of new improvements, including brand new dedicated services for guests travelling for business as well as for leisure.
Abdulsalam Al Bahar, Chairman and Managing Director of Wataniya Airways said: "We are very pleased to launch BusinessFirst, as it represents the most important improvement to our services since the start of our operations. From our first commercial flight to Dubai in January 2009, we have continually asked our guests for their valuable opinions and suggestions about how we can make our products and services better. This has resulted in the introduction of new destinations, improved flight schedules, and continual enhancements to our on-board service.
"With a continually growing number of guests choosing to fly with Wataniya Airways, and many companies now wanting to make Wataniya Airways their first preference for business travel, the improvements we are making are, we think important enough to rename our premium cabin BusinessFirst. In effect, we have combined all the benefits and comforts of First Class, with the efficiency and convenience of business services."
George Cooper, Wataniya Airways CEO said: "We are committed to ensuring that BusinessFirst provides a first class service for both business and leisure guests. In addition to improved flight schedules and launching 24/7 cover for our Guest Contact Centre, BusinessFirst guests can use Wataniya Airways' complimentary Chauffeur Drive service to Sheikh Saad Terminal, or the free valet service and free parking at the airport, as well using our new fully equipped business centre in the dedicated BusinessFirst lounge with free WIFI access and other business services as an office away from home.
"We have also improved our in-flight services, including new meal menus and entertainment, and added a broader range of magazines, including titles which are specifically business and financial news focused. Our unique 'On Air' service during flight continues, ensuring our guests can always maintain mobile and internet connectivity during flights" added Mr Cooper.
BusinessFirst will be fully operational across all Wataniya Airways' services from today. Guests wishing to travel on Wataniya Airways can book tickets by logging on to www.wataniyaairways.com or by calling the Kuwait Guest Contact Centre on 118 or +965 24379999, or by making a reservation through their preferred travel agent.
