Women's share in commercial activities
Women have a 1.3 to 2.6 percent share in commercial activities, which is still very low, said Commerce Minister Mohammad Shariatmadari on Tuesday, according to IRNA.
Restrictions and social barriers have prevented women from undertaking a stronger share in social activities.
He said if stops to women's presence on the cultural and economic scenes are not removed, social progress will be restricted.
