Yemen kills two al Qaeda members
The Yemeni air forces killed on Sunday evening two senior al-Qaeda members in an air strike at Modiah district in Abyan province, southern Yemen, a security source said. The source on Monday told state-run Saba news agency that the two al-Qaeda leaders were planning to carry out "terrorist" acts against vital installations in the country.
"The security services will continue to hunt for terrorist elements and will not allow any frivolous to harm the country's security and stability", the source added. The Yemeni authorities have also warned the people against sheltering suspected al Qaeda activists, saying those who may be found guilty of sympathizing with fugitives would be punished.
