Yemen minister stresses education
Minister of Education Abdul-Salam al-Jawfi said that the problems of society could not be resolved without increasing the rate of educated people in general, and girls in particular. In a ceremony of launching a strategy for improving the political women's participation, al-Jawfi said that Yemen is suffering from three main problems including illiteracy, water shortage, economic deterioration and population growth. Education is the best solution for such problems, said al-Jawfi.
