Dead End: Assad's roadmap to peace turns into a war cry

What was supposed to be President Bashar al-Assad’s address outlining a roadmap to peace in Syria, transmuted into a war cry; a Turkish model for the Middle East; and religious dialogue in Saudi? Not really.
I find the religious aspect of living in Saudi Arabia very confusing. Muslims tell me all the time that questions are encouraged in Islam, yet getting satisfactory answers is an entirely separate matter.
I have also found that when I ask questions, people often seem offended or insulted at the thought that I would question something they believe in.
While it used to be an amazing model of democracy and Islam working together, in recent years, Turkey has witnessed a series of political transformations moving it away from the shining democratic model many once took it to be.
