The French are cleaning house and kicking out anyone that has even a hint of extremism after the Toulouse massacre shocking events. In a joint statement by French minister of foreign affairs Alain Juppe and minister of interior Claude Gueant, they claim to ban some Muslim scholars because,
“These people's positions and statements calling for hatred and violence seriously damage republican principles and, in the current context, represent a serious threat to public order”.
"Once considered to be one of the strongest non-state military factions in the entire Middle East, we are now witnessing the decline of Hezbollah. Though it may seem to be at the peak of its career of might, in reality the popularity of Hezbollah in the Arab world — the bedrock of its legitimacy outside its Shiite core — is at an all-time low"
