With the Syrian embassy recently saying it is not safe for its citizens to travel in Lebanon, Pop rock 80's and 90's icon George Michael shows up in the Beirut night clubs to show that there is Freedom. Check out these photos of him being a dj's 'father figure', picking out some tracks. Let's hope someday Michael will be welcome to Damascus. "The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council met on 14 May in Riyadh to discuss the formation of a new Gulf Union. This Union was to entail even closer relations between the states. In particular there were high expectations that Saudi Arabia and Bahrain would form some kind of a deep Union, potentially as a pilot before the other states joined. Or so it was thought."
